The 50th anniversary of the archaeological excavation of the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Night of the Museum were successfully held

On the evening of September 9, 2024, the "Five Rank Huazhang · Civilization Figurines Continued-50th Anniversary of the Archaeological Excavation of the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Night of the Museum" was successfully held in the lecture hall of the Mausoleum Museum of the First Emperor of Qin. Jia Qiang, director of the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, Sun Zhouyong, Wang Runlu, deputy directors and other relevant leaders, representatives of the morning international conference, leaders and staff of the Qinling Museum, about 500 people attended the event. 

With the wonderful performance of the dance "Qin Warriors", the event officially kicked off, and the powerful dance brought the audience back to the Qin Dynasty of the Golden Iron Horse, vividly showing the historical story of the heroism and loyalty behind the Qin Warriors. Subsequently, the magnificent drum sound of "War Drums of Great Qin" sounded, playing the sound of the thousand-year-old civilization, as if you were immersed in the scene, feeling the majesty and majestic momentum of the Qin Dynasty. 

As a classic expression of Qin culture, this event specially invited Guo Jun of Shaanxi Provincial Opera Research Institute to reproduce the magnificent chapter of Qin Shi Huang's unification of the six countries with "One Emperor through the Ages" in Qin dialect; The drama "The Resurrected Army" vividly interprets the feelings of family and country conveyed by a letter from a family letter in the tomb of the Qin people through immersive performances; Huayin's old "The General's Roar Shook the Mountains and Rivers" brings tragic pride and shows the deep protection of culture and spirit. Shaanxi Huaqing Palace's "Green Waist Drumming" and Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum's "Qin Mengweiyang" respectively show the flexibility and profundity of Chinese culture with soft dancing and calligraphy artistic expression, and convey the cultural spirit inherited from ancient to modern. 

Throughout the event, the wonderful performances of the staff became a beautiful scenery of the museum night, and each program showed the professionalism and artistic talent of all the staff of the Qinling Museum. reciting "Perseverance" to pay tribute to the silent dedication of cultural protection workers; The song "Asking the Sky" conveys the spirit of "the road is long, I will go up and down and seek"; The chorus "We Walk on the Road" and "We Are All Dreamers" pushed the event to the climax, expressing the perseverance and pursuit of cultural and museum workers in the new era with singing. 

At the scene, archaeological expert Shen Maosheng shared his journey with the Qin Warriors for decades, showing the hard work of the cultural and museum workers behind the restoration and excavation; The moderator also interviewed Du Weisha, a young cultural and museum worker, who has been involved in the detection and analysis of cultural relics unearthed from the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang since 2016. 

Through a series of wonderful performances, this museum night is not only a display of the spiritual outlook of all employees, but also a profound practice of cultural inheritance and innovation. In the future, the Qinling Museum will continue to forge ahead in the historical journey of the new era, guided by innovation and perseverance, so that this treasure of Chinese civilization will always be alive and vibrant, and the cultural spirit carried by the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses will be passed on from generation to generation.
